V9 gaming case review

On the bottom we find rubber feet and a filter ventilation area for the power supply, yes the PSU mounts on the bottom of the case. On the back of the case we find the mm exhaust fan, along with the standard stuff, with the addition of holes for water cooling tubing to be passed through.

Both right and left side of the case are held on with thumbscrews. Removing the sides is easy thanks to the thumbscrews, we can get a better look at the mm fan on the left side. The front bezel pops off easily revealing removable inserts for the drive bays and a filter for the front intake fan.

The V9 case allows you to install a thin profile fan to help keep your CPU cool. The optical and hard drive bays features twisting locks and the PCI slots are also tool-less. The kind of gamer that wants to have a cool new case and still have some money left over to buy that higher end video card. Let's start taking this chassis for a ride.

The Thermaltake V9 has all the cool markings of a very high end case. With the front of the case having mesh all the way down the drive bay area, and an angled window on the side. It just screams look at me I have class and uniqueness. With large holes on the side for air to pass through The Themaltake V9 is all about being cool. On the backside door of the Thermaltake V9 you'll notice no window, but the angled large vent holes are there to keep the cool looking appearance.

With a steel and plastic mixture it allows for the cut in price. Page 2 » We are going to take a look at one of Thermaltakes newer gaming case, the V9. Sponsor: Thermaltake [hr] First Impression.

The Thermaltake V9 comes packed in a black box with tons of pictures showing you what lies inside. On the front you will find a large high res shot of the V9 along with the main features. The rear is covered with smaller images highlighting specific areas of the case, with brief descriptions, and on the side are the main specifications of the V9. The Thermaltake V9 is packed inside a clear bag to protect it from finger prints and minor scratches.

The case sits in two large Styrofoam end caps to keep it centered in the box during shipping. This is pretty much the standard packaging for just about all chassis. When I removed the V9 from the box, I did find a few plastic pieces laying in the bottom of the bag. After looking over the case good, I was able to find where the plastic pieces came from.
