Toya was very friendly and patient with me. Made our day! Easy and laid back. Friendly service. We love ya! I had a wonderful time finding my dress at Bridal Superstore by Posie Patch.
My consultant Tish was wonderful and knew what she was doing. I found my dress in no time and felt like a princess. Cindy was extremely helpful and patient. Iliked the big selection, and the friendly and professional staff. The calmness of the place was refreshing. The selection was excellent, and the employees WANT you to be here!
Fast service! Very friendly and helpful. Melanie was a true professional. I had been to several places to try on wedding dresses and felt pressured and rushed at each step along the way. I was close to giving up and going with a dres I liked, but did not love just to avoid further looking when a friend suggested Posie Patch.
I went last night and could not be happier with the experiance. Toya was my consultant and she was great! She helped me to find "The One" and without any pressure or hassle. I felt completely confortable and just thought she was the best! I am going to say yes to the dress this Thursday when I return with my mom! Lauren was fabulous! I love the large selection of dresses, The customer service is awesome!
Melanie was fabulous. She is better than any of athe girls on "Say Yes to the Dress. I loved that there were scheduled appointments, and not mass chaos. I loved my experience at Bridal Superstore. Shawn was my consultant and she was wonderful to work with. My mother, my grandmother, and I just loved Shawn. She knows how to make you look exquisite. I was at first disappointed that I couldn't take photos, but in the end it really didn't make a difference and I respect the store's policy.
If I had a store, I don't think I would want a bunch a people taking pictures of my merchandise that they probably wouldn't buy either. The selection at this store is first rate and I appreciate the royal treatment that Shawn gave us. I'm very excited about my dress and can hardly wait for it to come in. Andrea B. March 08, 5 Posie Patch Bridal Superstore. My consultant, Lindsay, made me feel like a princess. The consultants had excellent attitudes, and interaction was amazing.
Lindsay was great!!! Everything about this store created a great experience for me I wouldn't change a thing. The consultants were very pleasant to work with. They never pushed, and were very patient with us. June gave us an amazing experience. The customer service here was great. The consultants really give you a person experience. It was an overall pleasant experience. The selection was amazing and the prices were even better. Melanie was absoutely fabulous, she made the whole experience so much fun.
On time, prepared and very familiar with the dress lines and availability. My experience was wonderful! I loved the dress I selected, and I will definitely be back for bridesmaids and tuxes. Blaire was a bride-to-be's dream! Thank you for making my big attire decisions easy. Your store was set up beautifully and dresses were easy to find.
Price was very good. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Purchased a dress from them which was immediately moved to the back of the store until alteration. The dress was 'off the rack', so no special order. Unfortunately my fiance and I broke off the engagement. Upon returning to request a refund, I was told that is not their policy.
Specifically because dresses of these kind are special order, tailored, altered, etc. The dress we purchased was off the rack - not special ordered and never altered.
It never left their store so it could never have been worn! Things happen, and stores like this, when possible, should accommodate their customers as much as possible. I would understand if the dress had left the store or was altered in any way, but it had not. Your staff is very wonderful. Prompt, courteous and very personable. I really liked having a professional wedding consultant.
Everyone was very polite and friendly. Excellent customer service. Service was greatly appreciated. Polite and timely. I liked the knowledge and patience of the staff. Lauren was really interested in what I wanted. Great customer service. Family owned for more than 30 years, Bridal Superstore by Posie Patch has been serving Indiana Brides with the dedication and care you'd expect from a premiere Bridal Store.
Because of the diversity and prices you'll find, Bridal Superstore is uniquely positioned in the Indianapolis area to meet all your Bridal Party needs. At other stores they pick based off what you tell them, this made it more fun. I found my dress immediately but tried on other They had a great variety. I had a great lady go through my budget and help guide me through the process. Loved the experience. I got to walk right over with my dress on and she did my alterations right then.
She did a fantastic job too. Had a great experience here Saturday. Deborah was extremely helpful. I merely gave her a description of a few elements I liked and didn't like then she went looking while myself and my party looked too. She ended up picking out the perfect dres When I came back that evening they quickly took my measurements and helped me decide the proper size to order.
The whole experience with this salon was great. All of their staff was smilies and politeness. I came in to the store first thing Saturday morning without an appointment just to get some ideas and prices. They were able to fit me in with an appointment right away.
My consultant Tish was great, she really helped me to make up my mind, hel Had a great experience at Posie's! DeeAnne was absolutely wonderful! She's very personable , and I loved that she helps you narrow down your dresses so you don't get overwhelmed. Bridal Superstore makes brides cry I live in Chicago, but the three out of seven of my bridesmaids live in Indianapolis.
I booked my appointment at Bridal Superstore based on a friends recommendation. I went wit We picked out about 7 dresses to try on, and narrowed it down to one, a gorgeous Kanali K lace dress in teal. We were told that we were not allowed to take pictures, because the store has "strict agreements with these designers. I was informed that they did not have a current color swatch for this Kanali K dress because it was so new. I asked if I could have a swatch sent to me, and was informed that a swatch would only be mailed to me upon purchase We can't see the color until we buy it?
Two weeks later, I tried to look up the dress on the Kanali K website to show the rest of the bridesmaids. I discovered that the style number was missing from the dress information I was provided. I contacted the store to get the details so I could find the dress on www.
I was informed by the guy that answered the phone that their stores designers, including kanlik , do not have websites, because "they are really trying to help out the stores" which was weird because I was looking RIGHT at the designers website Then I was informed that there wasn't a record that we tried on dresses that day, and defiantly not a record of the dress we were interested in.
I was shocked, and panicly asked, how could this happen. He replied that the appointment must not have went well, so the stylist must have not felt that it was important enough to write anything down. The worst part is that he was completely unapologetic, and it felt like he blamed me for their error. I asked why the stylist would take our measurements and not even keep a record of it. He said he would look around for more information and try to get back to me the next day.
Two days later a girl contacted me to inform me that there wasn't any information and that the stylist we met with went back to school. She suggested that I find a store in Chicago that carries the designer and start over. I was shown the color swatch, which revealed that the dress doesn't come in a teal. The whole Bridal Superstore experience was pointless and created so much stress.
Unless you want your first bridal appointment to be an awful experience, do not go to Bridal Superstore. I chose this store thinking they had a large selection of dresses and was so disappointed in the experience that it didn't even matter. My consultant didn't pull one of the dresses I wanted because it was over budget which I understood, but later pulled a dress even more expensive than that one for me to try on.
I only tried on 4 of my 5 dresses when my consultant told me her time was up with me because she had another appointment. I had not gone out to show my family the 4th dress when she said this. I started to explain to her that when she had gone to grab that dress my family and I discussed that I personally needed a belt with the dresses because it made a world of difference and she quickly cut me off and told me "It was MY dress, not theirs". Therefore, I didn't get a belt to go with the last dress.
Then, I asked if I could at least go show my family before she made me take it off and she didn't seem thrilled. From the moment I walked in, it felt as though they didn't actually want my business. I left the store feeling terrible and like I would never find a dress.
I do not recommend this store, no matter how many dresses they have. That's not a feeling you want when you are trying on wedding dresses for the first time. I went as a bride-to-be looking for my wedding dress. I did have an appointment. It is better if you get an appointment. I took my mother and 2 bridesmaids. You can only bring 3 guests with you. Wear appropriate undergarments. You will hav So wear underwear that you are comfortable being seen in.
First, the dresses they offer are good quality. They will help you find a dress that is under budget and that fits. They have a wide range of sizes and an adjacent alteration shop that you can take your dress to. I went to another shop to compare what I found and to see how I felt about the shop. I realized that The Posie Patch was just the best for the price. I found my dress here and I love it.
It needs some alterations but that is normal. Expect that. Teresa was the lady who helped me and she was the sweetest lady!
She was fun and energetic. She wasn't too pushy and she guided me to the right dresses once I told her what I was looking for. My best advice is have fun. You hopefully are only going to do this once and it should be an enjoyable experience. Laugh, joke, and just be you. Also have an idea of what kind of dress you are looking for. It is easier for them to help you if you have some idea.
For example, I wanted a tea length dress with lace. I also found that I really enjoyed the style of Justin Alexander dresses. That is a good starting point. Look online before you go. Decide what you like and don't like. I walked out and purchased my dress else where because a consultant was that rude. She asked what style I was looking for and I told her I love mermaid dresses.
She looked at me and asked if I was sure because mermaid dresses show ALL of your c I am a size 10 and the mermaid dress I purchased at another boutique looked amazing! I found my dream dress at this store. The cost was decent but the staff was sort of rude and rushed us. However since this was exactly what I was looking for I still bought my dress from them.
There aren't very many options in Indianapolis for wedding dress and bridesmaid dress shopping - so other than going to David's Bridal I really felt limited.
However, I fo My dress was beautiful when I picked it up. However, when I took it to get altered, we ran into so many problems with the poor quality. The seamstress we used who had previously worked for David's Bridal was appalled at the way the dress was put together. It took a lot more work than it should have to alter the dress. My bridesmaids had a little better luck, however we still ran into issues with their dresses as well, just less severe. At the time, the store was severely understaffed and it seemed the staff members were highly over worked I would never suggest someone go back to this location.
It's worth the drive out of state! Julie was the prefect person to help my daughter find her prefect dress. Julie was so attentive to my daughters likes and dislikes. Julie knew what would look best on her. What a great d I could not have asked for a better experience at the Posie Patch with Julie as my bridal consultant! I have been to multiple bridal stores in multiple cities and Julie really made my experience whole.
Her positive and relaxed demeanor helped t I would not recommend anyone to go to this store for any type of bridal attire.
They are extremely rude, horrible customer service, and insulting to people. I went to this store to look for a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I was super ex The first bad thing that happened is the consultants argued with my family because we wanted to shop for bridesmaid dresses first. They refused and made us look at bridal gowns first.
The consultant was extremely rude to me and my family during the whole time. She told me that I shouldn't be shopping for dresses right now, kept making comments that I was a "plus" size bride and what I wanted won't fit, stated my budget was too low, and wouldn't give me a chance to look at the dresses.
She just picked out some dresses and said lets just try these on. As she put me in dresses she stated some didn't look good on me, you are too short for that, or "this is not flattering on you". She was also sick and kept coughing on or next to me. After expressing I didn't want to try on any more dresses because she made me feel so uncomfortable, overweight, and upset the consultant just gave me a card. No one even offered to help us look for bridesmaid dresses and they are all way over priced.
They ended up turning a very special moment into a horrible experience that left me crying. This place is full of extremely rude consultants and horrible customer service. I will never go to this store again and I recommend no one else to go here as well.
We purchased my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses at the Bridal Superstore. Though my consultant seemed kind, I can't say we had a good experience there. They had a large selection of dresses and I was looking for something that was not white I tried on dresses at many salons and only went with Bridal Superstore because of their selection. They offer a large percentage off if you purchase a dress at your first appointment - this combined with my own desire to be done with the search for the dress pushed me to make a bad decision at the appointment and purchase a dress that wasn't right for me.
I later decided I did not want this dress and though it was still several weeks before the dress was due to arrive they would not even consider letting me exchange it for another dress or cancel the purchase. This may be typical but as the dress I wanted to purchase instead from their salon was considerably more expensive, I thought they may give me some leeway.
Instead I felt judged and they treated me as though I was a hysterical bride. They did in the end offer me a discount on the second dress but I was still forced to purchase the first one, which I then sold on eBay at a loss. This was made a bit worse because no one told me at the salon that the original dress was a style that was several years old, meaning it was harder to sell. I loved the second dress, and this was the only store in the state I could have purchased it from, but the process was painful.
For the bridesmaids' dresses, I thought the consultants were all nice, but dresses were overpriced and they botched the shipping multiple times. Despite lengthy conversations indicating that one dress needed to be shipped to another state, this did not happen. They also did not process the rush shipping we needed for the final dress, despite a conversation about it and a rush fee that was eventually refunded.
I would not recommend this shop. I worked with Sherry, who was wonderful! The very first dress I tried on ended up being my wedding gown! Sherry was very down to earth, complimented me and my family, she was very friendly with everyone and really listened to what I wanted in a I have heard many mixed reviews from people I know that have had both pleasant and negative experiences at this store.
I knew they had a great selection of dresses and thought I should give them a try. I was right on that part. They do have However, their rude staff helped me decide that I wanted to do my business with another bridal boutique in Indianapolis.
It was not a great experience. I feel your associate makes a huge difference at this store. I just did not have a good one. Do not shop here! The customer service is terrible!
My consultant told me I needed to lose 10 pounds , was shouting out that I needed a bigger size, rolled her eyes atranscript my mom, and was extremely pushy! Anything my mom said she argued wi All she cared about was making a sale. Although they do have beautiful gowns, they are extremely overpriced. Davids bridal is so much better. I had been to 4 boutiques prior to coming here. I was slightly intimated by the massive amount of dresses.
Sherry was by far one of the main reasons for my above and beyond fantastic experience. She was attentive, engaged in conversation with m The very first dress she picked out ended up being the dress we selected. My experience is what I hope every bride-to-be gets to experience. Thank you for a wonderful memory to look back on in such an exciting time of my life : Sherry, you are so wonderful. I found my dress today thanks to Julie! I was really overwhelmed when we started and was ready to be done but she was really nice and help me through the process and I found a dress I Absolutely Love and cant wait to walk down the aisle!
I was a bit hesitant to buy here since I'd read several reviews stating how unreliable this store is. I read about horror stories of brides going to pick up their dresses only weeks away from the wedding and finding the wrong dress had been or So yeah, I was definitely cautious about not putting too much trust in them. I did get my dress from here though, and it was beautiful. I found it on the clearance rack for half off. It was my size, only needing a bit of taking in at the bust and a bit of sewing down loose beads.
I also ordered a veil here, which was correct and ready for pick up as they'd promised. I'm not sure if I would've had trouble getting a dress in if I'd ordered it, but since I was leery of not getting the right dress and found one ready to go off the rack, I just bought it that day and took it with me to avoid a possible disaster. The bridal consultants or whatever they're called can be a bit intimidating, as can the huge selection, but if you aren't sure what you want or think you're sure but haven't liked what you thought you would this was where I was , they can help you navigate all the available options and may get you into something you hadn't considered and realize you love it.
It's worth a trip there even if you just want to wander around and see what's out there since they have displays that make browsing a lot easier than other big stores like David's or Demitrios.
So I'd say be careful, but it's worth checking out. As I am having a small wedding I decided to do most of the planning on my own. When I first came for a fitting Nov 15, I met with Ashley, who no longer works for the store. At the time I was informed that the dress would arrive Feb-March with half down. Considering the price of the dress I wasnt able to make a full half pymt until the following week Nov 22nd.
At the time no one informed me that the arrival time would change to April 14th 2weeks prior to my wedding! Instead he put the blame on me due to the 1 week delayed pymt. I would not recommend this store for any bride. Tish was awesome.
She was the one who picked my dress! The whole process went smoothly and I said yes to the dress! Thanks Tish! Sherry was terrific. My appt had gotten lost because I had made it the night before but she made the time and we found my dress plus accessory on the first trip in.
This was my 3rd store I visited and it was the best experience. I shopped here the Saturday after Thanksgiving , and had an incredibly positive experience.
I think you have to be willing to accept the store "rules" before you go in, which can be easily found on their website or if you make an appointmen Honestly they make perfect sense to me. Starting out with 5 dresses, is great! You can get some variety without being overwhelmed, and if you don't like any of those you can try on more than 5 dresses, you just can't pick more than that to start out with.
Additionally, I think the rules about kids make sense too. Picking out a wedding dress is an important shopping experience, and kids running around would be very distracting. The prices seemed very reasonable compared to other shops for the same gowns, and their discount for buying the same day is fantastic. I think it really encourages you to come prepared. That being said, I know it takes some people a few trips to find the perfect thing and that's totally fine, but it felt nice to be "rewarded" for doing my research ahead of time and knowing what works for my body.
I never felt pressured to buy that day, I just went in wanting to. I went to the Bridal Superstore in the morning, went to three other shops during the day, and then ultimately came back to the Superstore about an hour before closing. The consultant who helped me in the morning and before they closed, Melanie, was so encouraging and honest.
I really appreciate all of her help. She was so willing to let me put on my top choice dress again at the end of the day and help me through the ordering process. I just picked up my dress, certainly within the window they told me it would arrive, and also had a great experience putting it on and checking the dress for flaws.
I would definitely recommend this store to my friends because they have a great selection, reasonable prices, rules to help the shopping experience go smoothly, and nice consultants. Everyone was very friendly to me. I was only able to try on 5 dresses. The employee wasn't the most pleasant to work with. I felt uncomfortable in the fitting room after she told me that I needed to take my bra off because the dresses wouldn't fit right with it.
Well ok! And ev I would not recommend anyone to shop here. First of all, my consultant was 45 minutes to and hour late to my appointment. Then, when I didn't feel comfortable in a dress and asked to skip showing anybody, she made an extremely rude comment that I couldn't get an opinion out before she told me just to take any of the dresses off since I didn't love it immediately.
When I finally found one I was fond of, I asked her to look for one more in my price range. She walked over to a section, took a look at 1 dress then returned to me and said she had none in the entire store. I'm glad I didn't find one here. I wouldn't want to spend money for being treated terribly on a special day for me. I had a great experience at Bridal Superstore selecting my wedding dress. My consultant was fantastic and was able to help me find a dress quickly - which was especially important since we only had a 5 month engagement.
I had three appointments set up in one day with the hopes of finding my dress while my Mom was in town with me. Little did I know that the very first place we went, Bridal Superstore, would provide superior consultation service Tish and that I was looking for a dress that was NOT strapless sweetheart -- slightly tough to find -- and Bridal Superstore had a great selection.
I would recommend Bridal Superstore to any bride, and plan to return to Yong's for all alterations in the future. Had a great time. The associate working with me was great. Very helpful. Found my dress in one trip. I love my wedding gown and got a great price, but felt pressured to buy and had an awful experience brides aid dress shopping there. We went elsewhere for my girls. Beautiful dresses with average service. I searched online extensively to determine what kind of dress I liked. I chose to look at Bridal Superstore because they carry some of the designers I liked from my research, including Allure and Justin Alexander.
I ended up picking an Allure I love my dress - I'm very happy with my choice. At Bridal Superstore, they have a lot of rules. One that seems silly to me is that you are not allowed to take any photographs of dresses unless you have already purchased it. When I came back to try my dress on, the person helping me was kind of bossy. She said I couldn't wear my bracelet because it was too loose and would snag the lace. Just kind of bossy! I wish they had more options for plus size brides and also for brides whose wedding was less than 6 months away!
However I loved loved loved the dress I got and was really lucky that they had it there and in my size!
My sales lady was great, but everyone else in the store was rude including the owner. There were more rules to try on a dress than I have ever seen. They wouldn't let my sister bring her 2 month old daughter to look at my dress. Hated giving th I had been searching many stores for an affordable dress and found this store after already having a bad day dress shopping leaving the store previous to this one crying.
I was with my 6 year old daughter and my mother when we walked in. He asked if we could come back later for an appointment but said, pointing to my daughter, "that can't come in, or has to stay at the front by the door. She was clean, quiet, and well behaved. I understand if she was acting out when we walked in but she was being polite. That was the cherry on top of my horrible day of dress shopping. I started yelling at the man as I grabbed my daughter and walked out. Maybe I shouldn't have been the obnoxious customer as I was, but how dare he insult my innocent daughter!
The staff at Posie Patch are a little stuck up and overall not too friendly. My friend set up the appt to look at dresses in late January. We were unsure if we would be getting married in Sept or March The man that took care of her s He argued with her about making an appt! It was the most beautiful dress for me and wouldn't change it for the world. I found my dream wedding dress at the Bridal Superstore, but that is where the dream ended. First, per store policy, no children are allowed anywhere past the lobby in the store.
So, when shopping with my mom, sister, and her 11 month old wh I don't like the policy, but I understand they don't want screaming kids running around unsupervised touching everything, but they make no exemptions for sleeping infants or well behaved kids. Next, I had picked out a bridesmaid dress that was about to be discontinued. They said they couldn't get it, even though they carried that designer. After much insistence and arguing, since I had held the dress in my hand at another store where they would have been all too happy to order it for me, they finally admitted that it could be ordered and was not yet discontinued.
Of course, we had to have all the measurements in within 2 weeks to ensure that we get it in before the discontinue date. This was a nightmare in that 3 of my bridesmaids at that time were more than 5 months pregnant, one 8 and a half!
This was 9 months before the wedding. We were not planning on ordering the dresses that early, as it is not typically recommended to order bridesmaids dresses that far in advance, as well as, the girls being pregnant. We got them ordered within the deadline, even though all the sizes were crazy wrong, so we thought everything was fine. They are wrong.
